Browsing the site
The blog is a static website currently available via Cloudflare Pages and Netlify during the hosting transition. When your browser requests a page or image, the hosting infrastructure necessarily processes connection information such as an IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site. Such information may be processed in infrastructure logs; retention is subject to the hosting provider's applicable arrangements.
Fonts and outside services
The site loads Barlow Condensed and DM Sans via Google Fonts. As a result, your browser connects to Google's font servers, which receive technical request information including the IP address needed to deliver the files. Cookies and analytics
As of the date above, we have not added advertising, analytics trackers, comment systems, account registration or newsletter sign-up to the site. We do not deliberately set cookies in the site's own JavaScript. Browser requests to third-party resources may be handled under those providers' practices. If we later add analytics, forms or other tracking, we will update this notice and consider any consent requirements before enabling them.
When you email us
If you email the editorial address, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, name, message and attachments. We use it to read and respond to your inquiry, check a correction or consider a story suggestion. The correspondence is handled through Google's Gmail service. Please avoid sending sensitive or confidential information that is unnecessary for your request.
Why and how long
The purposes are to deliver and secure the site and to manage editorial correspondence. Where applicable, this is based on legitimate interests in operating a website and replying to relevant inquiries, balanced against visitors' interests and rights; legal obligations may also apply. Emails are kept only while reasonably needed for the correspondence or editorial record, unless a longer period is legally required. We do not publish your email address or message merely because you contacted us.
Your rights
Where applicable under data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact us at the address above. You can also complain to your relevant supervisory authority; in Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection ↗.
Changes
We will update this page if the website adds features or changes its use of external services.
